Inoculated by hand
The current batch is colonizing for an estimated Fall 2027 first fruit.
THE WHOLE ROUTINE
Submerge your log in cold water overnight.
Return it to a shaded place outdoors.
Fresh shiitake emerge about a week later.
LET IT REST 6–8 WEEKS, THEN DO IT AGAIN.
